  • What is your maximum capacity?
    We allow a maximum of 200 guests for an event in our barn. However, should you desire an event with more guests, we have space for a tent that you could rent at an extra charge.
  • How long can we be on your property?
    The time allowed on our property before and during your event will be decided per client based on their particular needs. Our approximate time limit is 8 hours, allowing time to decorate before the event. However, the time limit might need to change depending on client’s wishes and other bookings we might have that week/weekend.
  • Does your barn have A/C or heat?
    No, our barn is not equipped with A/C or heat. However, we can provide fans, cooling units, and heaters, should you need them, for an additional cost. Though our beautiful barn allows for protection from the elements, it is best to view our property as an outdoor venue, meaning the heat or cold will play a role in your day. No matter the temperature and weather, we will do whatever we can to ensure your comfort and happiness on your special day!
  • Do you have bathrooms? Do you have a bride and/or groom suite?
    We have a deluxe restroom trailer on our property for all events. This trailer will have one gentlemen stall and two ladies stalls. These are clean and attractive restrooms that will suit your guests' needs comfortably. SCS is excited to announce we will have a bridal suite and groomsmen changing room on the property in the fall of 2019.
  • What is your alcohol policy?
    If your food vendor does not have a supplemental liquor license, you may choose from one of our list of liquor distributor vendors. Absolutely NO alcohol is allowed to be brought on our property at any time before, during, and after the event by you or your guests. See contract for full rules and regulations regarding our alcohol policy.
  • Can I hire my own caterer/DJ/florist/etc…?
    Yes! Sugar Creek Silos permits you to find your own vendors for your event. This means we do not have any minimums for food, beverage, etc., allowing your event to be more cost-effective and meet your individual needs. ALL outside vendors MUST be approved in advance by SCS staff so we can coordinate with them for your event. If you need suggestions, we can recommend to you our own premier vendors.
  • Can I bring my own décor?
    You may bring your own décor to use in our barn, but it must be approved by SCS staff in advance. You are also free to use select pieces of our vintage furniture and decor. Premier decorations can be rented at an additional charge.
  • How do I schedule a tour?
    To schedule a tour of our property, please fill out a contact form. One of our staff will reach out to you shortly to set up a time for you to tour our property. Please understand that during the busy season (May-September), weekend tours may be limited due to events on the property.
  • How do I book a date?
    A date cannot be booked until you have had a tour of our facility, signed a contract, and given your deposit. Only after these three things have been completed can we guarantee the booking of your event date. Get started today by filling out a contact form.
